Super cute Suzuki 400 Impulse . We were able to take the Photographs at Seaton Delaval Hall part of the National Trust. Take a look at their website for more information. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/seaton-delaval-hall
Here we have our GSX 400 Impulse.I would like to say she was fun to build ..... I'd like too and in some parts it was fun but a lesson was learned here that no matter how much i thought i knew about bike models etc i should always research the bike first before jumping in with both feet. As can be seen from the pics this bike was bought as a part finished project, not a problem thought i as its pretty much the same as a 400 Bandit. Wrong, this bike has more incommon with the GSX400 Katana, again itself a rare bike in this country.
But enough of all this woe is me, it was challenge accepted and as you can see from the pics it hasn't turned out too bad has it?
At some angles it can look not far from standard but every part has been looked at, cleaned, modified, rebuilt, painted, polished, powdercoated and brought back to new.
The engine we were very happy to find out is such a low mileage one as to be hardly ran in!
And now for the happy ending...
This bike is going in for surgery again, we've managed to get some supermoto TALON wheels and along with some ZX10r front forks these will be going on the bike very soon. We have changed the colour back to black her leather has had an update.
We will add more information on the build shortly
The story continues...as all good stories do.
